Here’s a look at how we work.
Initial Connection & Information Gathering
It all starts with an initial enquiry. Whether you reach out via our website, a phone call, or our social channels, our first step is to listen. We’ll gather key information about your vision, the type of event, your provisional guest numbers, location, and your desired aesthetic. This is the foundation of our event planning process.
The initial Proposal
With a clear understanding of your needs, our team will craft a detailed initial quote and proposal. We’ll outline marquee options, suggested flooring, lighting, and any accessories that could elevate your event. This is where the team work begins in earnest. We’ll present this to you and, ideally, schedule a first meeting to walk you through the proposal, answer your questions and start laying the groundwork.
The Site Visit
In an ideal world, the site visit would always come first, allowing us to provide accurate pricing right from the start. However, we understand that clients often want a ballpark figure early on, so this is usually given after the initial proposal.
A site visit is a vital part of any marquee hire project. During our visit, we carefully assess the space, take precise measurements, and note practical considerations such as uneven ground or access routes. We’ll also determine the best position for your marquee, ensuring both safety and practicality. This step gives us the detail we need to make tailored recommendations from window placement to back-of-house areas so your marquee is perfectly suited to your event.
Finalising the Quote & Confirming Your Booking
Following the site visit, we’ll finalise your bespoke quote with all the details buttoned down. Once you are happy, we’ll confirm the booking and secure your dates in our diary with a deposit. This is a vital step, especially for peak season, as it guarantees our availability for your event. It doesn’t mean your spec is set in stone though, we will remain flexible throughout tweaking your design as your budgets and tastes change.
Keeping in Touch & Final Details
We believe in maintaining a consistent dialogue throughout the planning process. While you handle other elements of your event, we’ll be available to offer advice and support. Approximately six to eight weeks before the big day, we’ll schedule a final details meeting. This is where we confirm the layout, timings, and any last-minute touches. We also arrange the final payment at this stage. Our focus on flexibility means we can accommodate changes right up to this point.
Build Day & Take Down
On build day, our experienced team arrives on-site to expertly install your marquee and all of its components. We work efficiently and professionally, leaving you with a flawless space ready for your event. Once the celebrations are over, we’ll return at the pre-agreed time to dismantle the structure quickly and discreetly.
